'Dominic & Chris Pop The Kettle On' is a new comedy podcast from Dominic J Allen and Chris Stokes.

An amusing chat over a pot of tea (occasionally with guest, and sometimes out and about on the road) with added sketches and stand-up? Absolutely! That's what this is! Check back here for details.

Dominic is an actor, writer and an artistic director of award-winning theatre company Belt Up. As well as adapting their acclaimed piece The Trial, he wrote and directed their recent hit Lorca is Dead as well as starring as Macbeth and Orgon Poquelin in their 5-star The Tartuffe.

Chris is a stand up comedian, recently seen supporting Milton Jones on selected UK tour dates and was a Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year Nominee as well as appearing in the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve in 2009 and The Big Value Comedy Showcase in 2010. "Hilarious" - The Scotsman, "Very smart material" - Chortle.

1.2 - Sketches

A redux of episode two (the original had some volume issues - hopefully they've been ironed out now).

We were invited to resurrect our sketch show, which had lain dormant for the best part of 4 years, at the superb Little Festival of Everything in Coxwold, North Yorkshire at the end of November.  This is what happened.

Featuring some live sketches from our first performance together for nearly 4 years (as well as some sketches pre-recorded over a pot of tea), snippets of the preparation for the weekend and snatches from the journeys there and back, which include a history lecture from Dom on the reasons we drive on the left.  It's like a much, much more lowkey QI, that bit.

You can listen to it below or download by right clicking here and it'll be up on iTunes shortly.

1.1 - Inaugural Broadcast

In this inaugural broadcast, Dominic and Chris discuss (among other things) a bizarre conversation with a greengrocer, bullying at school (and some former schoolmates), Dominic's drive to succeed before he's 30 and Chris's rather severe case of mistaken identity.

Featuring some snippets of sketches and stand up.

Also, probably not for the easily offended.  Considering the severity of the mistaken identity.

We hope you enjoy, whoever you are.  You can listen to it below or download by right clicking here, as well as from iTunes (in due course).
